The Ultimate Pick-up Day: mushrooms, trash & more!

| WHY ATTEND?! |

It's time to celebrate Autumn (by picking Finnish forest mushrooms) and the International Cleanup Day (by picking up some trash). Let's combine the two meaningful activities, enjoy the outdoors, learn more about different types of mushrooms, harvest, do our duty as citizens to make our forests a little bit cleaner!

5 euros (in cash to be given at the meetup spot)

| PLACE |

The meeting spot will be decided closer to the event date. Each participant will be offered a ride by car that will transport us to the closet forest / path!

This workshop is very practical, hence you will need equip yourselves with the following attire:

- dress according to the weather

- good shoes

- insect repellent

- basket or similar for mushrooms

- knife (if you have one)

- plastic bag for trash

- light snacks and a drink to keep your energy level up!

| ABOUT THE WORKSHOP HOST |

Tuuli is a big mushroom enthusiast. Self-taught, she has also attended pro classes when her mushroom-picking hobby picked up a pace! For the past 5 years, Tuuli has been exploring the hidden gems of Tampere and beyond to mushroom hunt and to learn more about nature's gifts. She always says: "Whenever a mushroom picking person leaves the house, technically mushroom picking could happen at any moment!".
